I'll be arriving in Paris via the Eurostar at the Paris Nord station. Does anyone know if we'll have easy access to the bus from that station? Also assume there are ATM's available to get our euros?
Thanks for any info you can give me.
Paris L'OpenTour has four routes. The Montmartre-Grands Boulevards route stops at Gare du Nord. See here.
Thanks so much! You were a great help. We're only doing a day trip from London to Paris so thought the Hop on/off bus would be a good idea. Thanks again.
Theresa
You're welcome! And yes, there are ATMs at Gare du Nord.
Theresa -
For a cash machine you will not see the sign ATM as seen in the US. Look for "Retrait" or a sign with a hand holding a credit card (as if it is putting it into the machine).
Cash machines in France are run by the banks (no independent ATM)- but La Poste (the post office) also has a bank - all post offices thus will have a cash machine. Look for the banks such as CIC, Societie General, BNP Paribas, HSBC are most common.
Thank you very much. The cash machine info really helps me know where to go.
We're really looking forward to the trip.
