Home Printed rail Tickets

I've been following along with others who want to book from home from Amsterdam to Paris printing their own tickets. I've played with the Thelys site and SNCF site and they looks fine. My question is has anyone ACTUALLY printed their own tickets and used them successfully? I really want to save money but fear some trouble with these tickets.
Thanks

I print them out all the time, no problems. These print at home tickets are actually adobe PDF files. So if you have any problems with your printer, you can simply save the file to hard drive and use someone else's printer. You can also make multiple copies of the tickets in case you're afraid of loosing them.

We've printed train tickets from the website too--it's really convenient. We just show the conductor our printout as he comes through the car punching tickets. It's just that easy!
