Jessica, The easiest, quickest and probably cheapest method for travel form Holland to Spain would be an EasyJet flight from Amsterdam to Barcelona. There appears to only be one departure per day at 19:05. Current prices for mid-May are as low as €46.99 (plus fees). You didn't say where you would be in Holland, so I assumed Amsterdam. You didn't say how much time you have for that portion of your journey? If you have several days, then you could certainly travel by train through France. However, keep in mind the trip will be MUCH longer, will cost more and may require at least one overnight stop so Hotel costs would be involved. If you have the time and the desire for sightseeing in France, that's certainly one option. In the same situation, I'd probably want to get to my destination so would use the budget flight. Be sure to be vigilant and wear a Money Belt in Barcelona, as the city has a bit of a reputation as a haven for pickpockets and scammers. Happy travels!
