Is taking the train from Rome (airport or a hotel by the airport) to the cruise port an easy means of transportation. There are 4 adults and 3 children ages 4, 6, and 8. We will have 4 large suitcases and 3 small suitcases. Costs and suggestions are much appreciated.

There is no direct public link between the airport and Civit..... The airport is SW of Rome and Civit.. is NW. We been out of the cruise port four times. You could take the Leonard Express from the airport to Termini and from Termini to Civit... but it would not be easy with all that luggage. You best bet is to hired a shuttle van. Try Romacabs or Rome shuttle. Also, RoninRome.com has a very detailed described for getting to the port.
