High speed rail Barcelona to Paris?

There are two daytime departures that feature high-speed trains, both with a connection in Figueres-Vilafant. Leave Barcelona Sants at 08:16 and arrive at Paris Lyon at 15:56. Or leave at 12:22 and arrive at 19:56. You can fly to Orly on either Vueling or Iberia and to CDG on easyJet. You can fly to Beauvais on Ryanair, but the airport is a 90-minute bus ride from Paris.

It's certainly a lot faster to fly but there is a night train from Barcelona to Paris that departs at 19:58. No train changes. Journey takes 12.5hrs. Only three stops in between. Arrives at 08:37 in the morning.
