I am taking the Euskotren from San Sebastian, Spain to Hendaye, France. From there I need to pick up a car rental in Biarritz - 18 Allee Du Moura. I am wondering how I get from Hendaye to Biarritz. Is it better to take a bus or a Train.
I don't know about a bus, but trains chug up that way every time you turn around, maybe once an hour? It takes a half hour. That address is right at the front door of Biarritz train station. I think the car joints are in the west end of the station or else go out the door, hang a left and walk around the end of the building.
Thank you. Do you have to book your train tickets ahead of time or can you buy a ticket pretty easy when you get there?
Walk up and buy it for the next train leaving.
Thank you - So they don't fill up so that you have to book ahead of time?
The bus from San Sebastian stops in the centre of Biarritz. The SNCF train station is on the outskirts of town, at least 3 to 4 miles away, and the car rental offices are nearby. I'd guess a train from the border would be more convenient.
