Help with Renfe tickets

Hello - am trying to buy tickets from Cordoba to Barcelona for October 14 2017.

In the past I have purchased all of our train tickets from Trainline - mainly because of how easy it is to use.

In looking at the above date, the price on Trainline is $67.00 per person. Decided to check Renfe site and it shows a ticket for the same journey for 46.50 Euros. Wondering why there is such a discrepancy. I find the Renfe site too difficult to use - can't figure out how to get it changed to English.

Help.

Thanks.

Try loco2.com, has the same tickets as Renfe site but a snap to use and no extra fee, recommended both here and Man in seat 61 (seat61.com).

Odd thing. If I enter one ticket, the price is 46.50 Euros. When I change it to 4 tickets, the price comes to 69 euros each.

Renfe changes to mostly English if you click on the word "Welcome" in English. But I don't think there's any way to prevent some Spanish seeping into the process. Paying with PayPal is a good way around the issue of credit card approval, if you don't have Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode, or maybe AmEx.

P.S. You new post above indicates to me that there are only one or two seats left at the lower price. Some shopping carts can't mix different rates and will charge the lowest rate that they can fill for the whole group.

Try booking two and two, to see if you can get the lower price for the first pair of tickets.

Trainline and Loco2 website still showing higher price than Renfe. Trainline replied to my email about the difference in price, saying it should be the same and that they would research why it was not. Actually told me to purchase from the cheaper site.

So, I tackled the Renfe site and used the suggestions from Laura and a couple of others, and purchased the tickets with Paypal.

Thanks for all the help.
