I am trying to book my train ticket from Cesky Krumlov to Salzburg but there is no option to purchase online through either the OBB or Czech website I have seen - I am assuming because the trip spans 2 countries. Anyone know how I could book this online or am I going to have to call? Thanks!

I would not bother about booking and buying ticket now. It is not necessary. Just buy it when you are there.

"I am assuming because the trip spans 2 countries." Prague to Salzburg is bookable on the Austrian Rail site, and it spans two countries. However, it uses major trains. I think the reason you can't book Cesky Krumlov to Austria is that it uses regional trains in the C.R. that are probably unavailable to the OEBB online booking computer. Those trains would not have reserved seats, anyway, so booking in advance would not assure you of a place. As far as Czech Rail is concerned, I don't think they book any cross border trains.
