We are planning a trip to Europe this summer we are planning to go from Paris to Rome and then Venice to Frankfurt on our trip. Now would you suggest taking the night train with the two destinations or flying. We are purchasing the eruorail for our trip but I hear it is more expensive at night. Also is I choose to fly what airline company should I use?? Thanks. Sarah
I use www.whichbudget.com when shopping for airlines within Europe.
We paid 80 euros for Paris to Rome on Vueling.,that was a month ago, it now looks like 90 euros.. cheap seats go fast.
Be careful to note which airports the cheap airline you choose use, some cheap airlines you airports that are far out and expensive to get to, or book early flights that are impossible to get to since public transport doesn 't go that early..
I would fly ( obviously I have got tickets, LOL ) between Paris and Rome as the night train tickets were too expensive ( we don't have a rail pass) and I wanted to save time.
Look at Vueling ( well reveiwed) and Easyjet,, and Tuifly( doesn't do Venice to Frankfurt but does Stuttgart,, does it have to be Frankfurt?) and AirBerlin,, also consider doing Paris Rome flight and Venice - Frankfurt train.
There is a Rome Ciampino to Hahn (Mosel river area) airport service by Ryanair. They call it "Frankfurt" Hahn... But it's actually only 20 minutes from Bernkastel-Kues.
