Help? Train from Bologna to Florence

Okay, who can help me. I know you all are good at this, so I am pretty hopeful. Regarding the new EuroStar that goes directly from Bologna to Florence; are these on new rail lines or did they just replace older trains? If it's on a new line, how do I see where the line is located on a map? Thanks!

The high-speed Frescciarossa from Bologna to Florence is a 37-minute non-stop. It runs on the same tracks as the slower Regionale train that makes the same run but makes 17 stops along the way that the high-speed does not make. The journey on the Regionale takes 1hr39min and costs 7.15Euro as opposed to 25Euro for the high-speed. Once you get to the smaller stations, the number of tracks increase so that the Regionale trains can make their stops and the high-speeds can whiz through on the extra tracks. For routing on a map, you may be able to plot the stops below on Google Earth. Arrival station Arrival time Departure time Bologna Centrale --:-- 06:45 Bologna S.
