My husband,daughter and I are trying to travel from Milan to Florence 9/26. I tried to reserve Eurostar tickets but it said it has to be 5 days in advance. Is there any other way to book? Can we get tickets at the station without reservations?

You can get your tickets at the station..and if it's a train that is "reservations compulsory" you just get a reservation then too. If you can do it a day or two or three ahead, that's best...Just do it as soon as you can when you're in an Italian train station.

According to the schedule there are trains every hour so we will head right to the station from the airport.
