Help! Rail Europe Ticket: Passenger names don't match booking confirmation??

I booked rail tickets on Rail Europe for Italo and Trenitalia Trains. The tickets are for my wife and I. The booking confirmation contains only "Travel Documents", which I assume are E-tickets, for Trenitalia and E-ticket Codes for the Italo Trains. I noticed that the E-tickets from Trenitalia have only my name as the passenger for both tickets. One reservation has one ticket with two seats on it but only my name as the passenger. Another reservation has two tickets, both with different seats, but my name on both tickets. Now, the booking confirmation clearly has my name and my wife's name as the passengers so I definitely filled out the forms online correctly. So is this a mistake by Rail Europe or is it expected that only I will have to present ID at the train station for my wife and I? Otherwise wouldn't they fine my wife on the train if she is caught with a ticket with my name on it. I sent an email to rail Europe and have yet to hear back. Hopefully someone who has bought train tickets before can weigh in on this because now I'm worried. Thanks.

Rail journeys aren't like air flights, nobody will care about the named person travelling on the ticket. The only thing you need to be careful of, as far as I'm aware, is that German rail (not Italian) requires you to produce the credit/debit card you booked the ticket with, if you made an advance online purchase.

I think the only thing you need to be careful of is Rail Europe as they specialize in reselling tickets at a huge mark up. Just curious what you paid and where you are traveling?

I have 21 seats booked on a train...ALL in my name. It's not a big deal.

For tickets that you print at home, German Rail requires you to have with you as identification the credit card that you used for the purchase (presumably since you can print as many copies as you want, to keep you from using more than one), but if they mail you a paper ticket, you don't need ID.

Not to worry. It is standard procedure for group tickets to have only the "lead passenger" name on them. When you buy tickets on the spot in a train station, they usually don't have any names.
