We are taking the eurostar at 6:30 in the morning on a Thursday in Sept. I am not sure where to stay the 3 days before, does it matter if I am close to the station or not? Is it easy to get too? I was thinking about a hostel called/in Earls Court. Any suggestions? Would it be hard to get to the train on time? Thanks!
Jenny, you should be fine. You can take the tube to Waterloo and walk across to the Eurostar terminal (10 min.) You'll probably need to catch it at 5:30 or a bit after to have time to get all that done and if it is a week day you'll pay full price for the ride as it is before 9:30. If you want to check the ride look here:

Hi Jenny, as Linda said you could take the tube from Earls Court (the District Line) to the Embankment tube station and change to the Northern Line to Waterloo. The Embankment Station is very large so you might have a long walk. But that early in the morning there wouldn't be much traffic, so it wouldn't take a cab long to get there. I would think it would be worth the price of a cab ride.
If you stayed at London County Hall, either Premier Travel Inn or Marriott, not only would you be smack dab in the middle but you would have Big Ben, London Eye, Thames River right outside your window as well as Waterloo Station at your back door.
The Journey Planner at www.tfl.gov.uk suggests taking the District line to Westminster and changing there for the Jubilee line to Waterloo. Leave Earl's Court at 05:13 and arrive at Waterloo at 05:30, well before your 30 minute check-in deadline for the Eurostar.
