HELP! Booked German rail on wrong day!

I booked a special night fare, online, but on the WRONG day. ahhh!!

I should have left on the 10 and arrived on the 11th, and not left on the 11th (of Feb of course!)

Anyhow--the DB page indicates that I can receive a refund (except 15 Euros) but I'm unsure about how to go about that. IT states that I can go to the "my bookings" portion--but I can't retrieve my booking for some odd reason. Can I perhaps get the refund in the train station BEFORE the 1st day of validity (which I would assume is the day of travel?)

THANK YOU!

thant's what I get for quickly booking a ticket because it was cheap!!! hehe

See the Bahn webpage, www.bahn.de/international/view/en/planning/onlineticket.shtml for information on refunds. Refunds for most tickets purchased online cannot be made at ticket counters. There is a form for ticket refunds at www.bahn.de/p/view_nav4/mdb/pv/pdf/MDB23377-erstattungsantrag_pkc_200604.pdf, but I am unsure whether it applies to night fares. It has to be filled in and mailed, with the ticket, to an address in Hamburg.

For further help, you might want to call their service hotline at
049 1805 788015.

They will answer in German but understand your request for English. You might have to wait a few minutes for someone who speaks English.
