Arriving at Heathrow, Terminal 5. What is the minumum time needed to clear customs, baggage and catch the National Express bus to Gatwick?

I would agree, however I usually leave 1.5 hours just to be on the safe side.

The hour five is a better mark. As I remember the buses only run every 30 minutes so you may need to add 29 minutes to your schedule. It is discouraging to see the bus pulling out as you walk up.

I would like to thank everyone who replied to my request, however British Airways is getting me in at Heathrow at 3 pm and leaving Gatwick on BA at 7:20 pm so was worried if I am going to be really rushed.
