Let me bump this up. This morning, 03/18, there is an excellent thread on FlyerTalk British Airways forum covering the details about this planned strike.

Once again, Nigel, thanks for keeping us informed.

Advice requested from LHR regulars! We have single ticket BA BUD-LHR-DFW during the planned strike period. Currently, BUD-LHR scheduled to arrive terminal 3, and LHR-DFW scheduled to depart terminal 5. Connection estimator says 90 minutes needed, and we have 3 hr 45 min layover scheduled.

1. Take airside connection bus, yes? (not HEX which goes landside, correct?)

2. I don't understand "all passengers must re-clear security", even though we remain airside?? Can someone explain the logistics of security clearance for connecting passengers?
3. Possible option of later LHR-DFW flight on AA (BA codeshare), currently scheduled to depart from terminal 3. How strongly would you recommend trying to switch to this flight instead? (flight in 2 1/2 weeks, paid for premium economy, haven't checked yet if any available seats, nor whether we'd be willing to suffer in regular coach just to make this switch, but would like to hear experienced opinions!)
4. If we were able to switch to AA departing from terminal 3, I think we still need to "re-clear security for any flight leaving from Heathrow"? Again, how does that work when you're already airside in same terminal??
Thanks for any info! Our first overseas trip since pandemic shutdown, and now transport issues, so trying to have back up plans in place!
5. Which brings up final question: is Aerotel at terminal 3 airside or landside? I'm assuming Sofitel at terminal 5 is landside?

Thanks for posting this. Have a question about this in the England forum .
I am arriving on B A from Athens on 31, March.
Are arrivals affected?
Are other terminals impacted as well by this. I may switch airlines.
Also, departing terminal 2, United on 4 April.
Any impact there.
Thanks!

It's only Terminal 5 and Heathrow says they have contingency plans in place.
