Heathrow passport control for families

I'm flying from the US to London on BA, through Heathrow, with my wife and 15 year old son. Does anyone know the process that's used for going through passport control? Do they take us one at a time or as a family? Do I need to fill out three landing cards or just one for the entire family. Any other relevant information would be appreciated.

Thanks

Mike

One landing card per person. They treat you all as individuals. Make sure everybody is holding their own passport.

Yes, one card per person.

My kids are young (under 10 currently, younger last time I was in Heathrow), so they went through with a parent. I'm not sure if a 15-year old would be a "kid" in that sense. Make sure he is carrying his own passport and card and is prepared in case he needs to go through alone. My hunch is that he will go with you or your wife - I think unaccompanied minors would have a hard time getting in, so would be expected to go with a parent.

We were just there 2 weeks ago with our two 14 year old grandsons and we all went through together. Each one needs a landing card. Have a great trip.

Go through as a group, not individually. When my travel partner and I went through separately, we were told that we should have gone together. Everyone fills out a landing card.

My husband and I always go thru together...I think the first time we tried to go separate (we didn't know better) and they just told him to come over with me...

If you google UK landing card, you can see what info you will need to have.
