Reading the Heathrow info has me nervous now...I just booked a Madrid-SFO trip from B.A. that arrives in London at 10:05 (terminal 3)and leaves for S.F.O. at 11:35 from terminal 5. This was booked directly through B.A. before I read this site. Terminal 3 to 5... will I need to go through a full security again?, and is 1:30 realistic?....or, should I re-consider? Any advice appreciated.
Heathrow Airport suggests 120 minutes
Connecting From Terminal 3 to Terminal 5
Thanks for the advice...B.A. says it is sufficient time and that it'd charge $275 each to change to the next SFO flight (2 hrs. later).
Guess I'm going to make the hour and a half work. Sounds like it should in theory....just have to hope it's not a "bad day" at Heathrow!
Don't worry about it....if you miss the connection due to your first flight being late or lines at security, BA will take care of you.
