Having Issues with Iceland Air Website

I've been searching for flights from NYC to Paris and back on the Iceland Air advanced search engine, and lately--in the last week--it just won't let me do it. Previously it was working, listing something like $900 for a flight to Reykjavik, then to Paris, then back to NYC. Now I put in the same thing, and it tells me I've exceeded the maximum number of stops. Anyone else have this issue? Advice? I was kind of counting on using Iceland Air as our transportation for our summer trip.

I just tried, picking the last half of April, because you didn't say when you wanted to go, and it worked for me.

I used the "stopover" booking option with NYC-REY 4/15, REY-PAR 4/19, PAR-NYC 4/30

The cost was $752

You can also use the "multi-city" option and accomplish the same thing, although the stopover option seems to offer some price options that are more convenient.

Let me know if you still have problems and I'll see what happens on my end.

perhaps it is because i'm trying to do it too far in advance? though it worked for me a few days ago for the same dates--mid july through early august. i'll keep trying--perhaps i'll try at work (for some reason, there are some websites that just don't work well on my mac). thanks!

I just tried dates around the end of July and had a similar problem you described.

My guess is that they are in the process of installing a new booking system for multi-leg flights that shows fares for different dates so you can compare prices. In the past, anything other than a typical round-trip request gave only the price for the dates you chose - forcing you to do numerous searches to get the best price.

I would either call them, if you are anxious to get it done now, or wait a few more days and see if it clears up. It might not be a bad idea to make contact with them one way or another to let them know of the problem - in the unlikely event that they don't know already.

I do know that those flights have been scheduled for months already, so it's not a simple matter of being too soon. We bought our tickets for a similar time frame back in mid-October.

Good luck. Call them. It'll work out.
