Has anyone flown on Iberia trans-Atlantic?

I have flown on Iberia from Barcelona to Paris and it was okay. Iberia has the best fares I have found for business tickets trans-Atlantic and I was wondering if anyone has experience flying with Iberia for a long haul?

I have not, but my Spanish friend flew Madrid to Chicago in April and hated every minute of it. He said the food was bad, the personnel were unfriendly, and the entertainment system was a TV that came down from the ceiling every few rows - and the one nearest him was broken. This was in coach, and presumably business would be better. Also, he doesn't fly much, so it may be no better or worse than any other airline in comparison.

I've flown transatlantic for years using multiple airlines (including Iberia) and my experience is that you can have a good - or a bad - flight on any airline. Also, most flights are at least OK. My advice is to go with the best fare.

I've flown Iberia several times on the Chicago-Madrid leg and haven't had any problems. Food seemed a little better than North American airlines, but service and amenities were about the same as others I've flown with. I agree with the suggestion....go with the best price.
