Has anyone booked a flight throughTravelation.com?

Linda, I checked out reviews through tripadvisor.com on their forum. I admit I'm overly cautious and anxious but I would never buy through such a site! I prefer to deal directly with the airlines so that we have someone to turn to when there's a delay or cancellation. I compare fares through itasoftware.com then buy through the airline's site except for my Nairobi trip when I phoned.

I've not used that site, but it looks legitimate. You could go to matrix.itasoftware.com/ and put in the same itinerary you searched for on travelation.com and see what flights come up. If you can match times, you can get a good idea of the airline you would be flying. I like the matrix site a lot for looking at prices, but you cannot book from there. It shows pretty much all available flights, then you have to track them down somewhere else or have a travel agent book it for you. It might even come up with the same price as Travelation and then you could feel better about the low price they are offering.

Well, I did a google search for travelation.com reviews, and it isn't pretty. I looked at 2 sites and most people say the customer service is terrible. If you know exactly what you and you know you won't need to make changes, you might be okay. I think it depends on how much you want to save versus how much frustration you are willing to deal with. Thank you both, Darcy and Stacey. I have been to the Matrix site and the best price I can get is $1397. The Travelation price seems too good to be true. I think I will be cautious and keep watching since I have a bit of time yet. Thanks again for the advice.
