I am thinking of making a small stop there - how do you get there - is it worth seeing?
Hi Irene,
We stayed in Leichtenstein (Treisenberg) a while ago. Beautiful scenery (if you have a car) but nothing you wouldn't see elsewhere in the Alps (Switzerland, Austria). Really nothing else to see. We stayed our first night after landing in Zurich (just to see for ourselves) on our way to St. Moritz (which I wouldn't do again either). If it's not out of your way and your curious, then why not. As far as a destination, skip it. Like I mentioned, the Alpine scenery is very nice but nothing you won't see elsewhere.

If you are travelling by train the station at Buchs, Switzerland, is just across the river from Lichetnstein. There are buses and taxis there. Unless you are a stamp collector or just want to add it to your "been there" list there's not anything special.
YAWN! We took a 3 country tour while in Garmisch that took us through Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The scenery was unbelievable, but then they dropped us off in Vaduz for an hour and a half. It was a waste of time, most of us on the tour agreed. BUT, as the previous post says, it was nice to get a stamp on our passport. But don't go out of your way to go there.
I agree with the others. It is not worth the time or money to visit.
