Did you read about this ? A Panel plans guidelines on handling airport delays. A U.S.A. government task force has been discussing that problem for nearly a year. It is known as "the Tarmac Task Force". The members of that "Task Force will vote, November 13, 2008, on guidelines for airlines and airports on how to craft their own contingency plans for dealing with Lengthy Tarmac delays at airports. But the Task Force recommends leaving it up to airlines and airports whether they follow the guidelines or ignore them.
