My husband and I will be living in Grenoble, France for 3 months starting in September. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best travel routes to Munich, Germany for October Fest?

Are you asking about driving? Trains? If you plan to drive I like www.viamichelin.co.uk. It does all countries and gives you cost, choice of quickest or scenic and time/km. Like most direction web sites it isn't always right on the easiest (our hostess gave us better directions in and out of her neighborhood) but it was very useful for planning.
