Hi, Husband and I are planning to take a 1-way flight from Granada (GRX) to Barcelona (BCN). Wondering if anyone has any experience or feedback on any of the following airlines:
vueling, iberia, or spain air. Flight departures are around the same time. No big luggage - but may need to check in our backpacks. Thanks,
I have used Iberia on that same route and it was just fine, similar to a Delta commuter plane. I haven't heard anything bad about the other two either. I'd just pick the cheapest including baggage check since it's a quick flight. Have a good time! Barcelona is one of my favorites in Europe.
Thanks Leslie. Seems like the cheaper one is iberia/vueling by about $25 and both take 1 free bag. Also sent you a PM about Alhambra and Sagrada familia. Will you be joining the RS ATL groupactivity next saturday?
Hmm. Didn't get the PM for some reason. I'll check back again later as it's sometimes slow. Wish I could join you guys Saturday, but it's college football season and I am forced into mandatory fun time with the hubby until it's all over. I'll hopefully make a meeting in the winter as that's when we get the travel itch. The brewery tour is fun though. Sweetwater makes one of the best IPA's I've ever had. Have fun!
We went the opposite direction last year, on SpanAir. The flight was just fine and saved loads of time. I think we checked our backpacks, but can't swear to it. Enjoy Granada and Barcelona - loved them both!
