My aunt who has never traveled to Europe is meeting us in Paris. She arrives 3 hrs before us at CDG Terminal 2E (Delta). We are arriving at CDG Terminal 2A (American). How easy is it for her to get from 2E to 2A to meet us outside of customs perhaps? Thanks,
Jim
There's a Starbucks in 2D that might work as a meet-up place for you.
There is a shuttle bus between terminals and she does potentially have 3 hours if planes are on schedule.
CDG has a lot of information online including detailed maps. I assume that she will have checked luggage that she'll want to collect. It might be easiest (for her) to stay put and for you to go to 2A to meet her.
Thanks for the responses. I looked at CDG's terminal maps and see that her terminal (2E) does not have much for sit-down services in the arrival hall. I'm going to suggest to her to be adventurous and take the shuttle from 2E to 2A and wait for us there at a Mcdonalds or another cafe/coffee shop.
There is a McDonald's and a Brioche Doree coffee shop in the public area in Terminal 2A. Brioche Doree would get my vote.
There is a coffee bar outside customs in 2A as you come out of customs on American. Your aunt should have access to a baggage cart and she could do whatever she likes for entertainment during the 3 hours and arrive at the coffee shop just in time to meet you. Sorry, but I don't know the name
of the coffee bar.
