Hello!
How much should I expect to spend on tickets from SFO to CDG? I'm not planning to go until Nov. 2018, but I see non-stop economy for ~$480 per person, should I go for it, or is it better to wait???
Thanks!
Is that roundtrip? It won't get better than that.
Must be Norwegian Air?
@Lola
it's United Airlines, so, sounds like I should do it? :)
For a non-stop Fare that is excellent. But I am not familiar with United's price structure so maybe it is some kind of "basic" fare with no seat selection, no meal and no checkled luggage? Just be sure you understand the conditions attached and are OK with them.
If you are willing to depart from OAK, Norwegian flights are non-stop to CDG for around $200/pp one way. That is their basic fare....seat selection/meals/20 kg of luggage adds around $75. November 2018 bookings will be available, soon
How many stops and what is the total duration of the flight? Tickets at those kinds of prices are often long with odd stops and layovers. If it's direct and fits my dates and times, then I would grab it.
That’s a fantastic deal! Do a happy dance and commit before it’s gone!
Enjoy the trip.
That's our usual airline to CDG. I believe also about the sale price I got buying last October for April/May. Grab it!
And think about dropping in on the SF Bay Area Travel Group Meeting -- second Saturday of the month at Larkspur Landing.
Don't wait, buy now. For that price SFO to CDG I don't care if the plane is one hour late in arriving. I've flown United to CDG...not great, just put up with it.
Wonderful fare, but only available a couple of days in the month, and you are going to check in at CdG well before dawn. No bargains come without complications.....
@ Sandy.... I booked a r/t ticket (solo) on Jan 4 almost as low as yours but for departure at the end of April for the next 5 weeks or so until June 7, the return date, Economy (ie, I expect sardine can seating), and non-stop on both legs with decent dep/ arrival times. The bargain price was $500, OAK to London Gatwick, r/t....no obstacles or complications.
In a way I prefer departing from OAK but basically no difference to me if it's SFO or OAK, lines or no lines.
Had I booked from OAK to CDG (also an option) on Norwegian Air, there would have been even more of a bargain price.
I concur. If you don’t mind traveling at that time of year, grab it.

I hate United Airlines but if I were based at SFO and saw that roundtrip fare to CDG for $480, I would take it in a heartbeat. Some buddy passes roundtrip to Paris aren't that cheap.
It's one day since you wrote the OP above. If you were looking for a good deal, I hope you grabbed it. Deals like this can vanish in a flash.
Thanks everyone for the input, I decided to go for it!
