Sorry, staff around me have neither heard of nor used these tours. Note on the web site that they are not licensed guides, so they're mostly providing transportation. If you have mobility challenges, then it sounds like a nice option. Otherwise, you can walk your feet off, or take trams, metros, and taxis pretty reasonably.

If you want a different mode of tour transportation and give give your feet a rest from walking, a Segue Tour might be fun. We did one in Florence, had a guide, headphones in our helmets so we could hear everything (I think it was about 3 hours). And there were only 4 people on the tour. A great way to cover a lot of ground quickly and see a lot of outdoor sights (if you want to go inside, you'll have to go back without the Segue).

Segways are fun, yes, but they require you to basically stand in one spot for the duration of the tour. That can be hard for some people to manage if they have foot or leg problems, or can't stand for 2-3 hours nonstop.

I have seen a few of these companies on Trip Advisor and they seem to get mediocre to great reviews. I have done a golf cart tour in Krakow and enjoyed it but there is so much less traffic (people and cars). Especially if you are going during the high season, I can't see a golf cart tour being that enjoyable in Rome.
