Has anyone used this service recommended in Rick's Paris Travel Book? I have sent them information on the GoldenAir website to reserve transport from CDG to Paris and have asked for a confirmation of that reservation, and I get no response from my emails and fax messages to them. Should I trust them to be at the airport to pick me up?

Hi Ben--I used this company last March. They did respond to my emails before I left the country, and they request that you call them on the phone to verify your travel plans 24 hours before arrival. We had no problem with them whatsoever--very satified with their service. (They did speak English on the phone, and our drivers for pick up and drop off both spoke good English, too.)

Thank you for your reply and confirming information about Golden Air ... I will wait a little longer for their reply to my email....and hopefully will have as good an experience with their service as you did.

We used Golden Air this past May from CDG. The experience was awful. I think it was because Golden Air actually farmed us out to a contractor or other vendor. There was much confusion about our pre-paying. The driver insisted we did NOT prepay, although my recollection was that my credit card information was given on the website for payment. The hotel clerk at Hotel Muguet (great place) assured me our credit card info was just to reserve the car service. Turns out she was right, although the experience was so bad (multiple stops and EVERYONE picked up went through the same payment status confusion)we cancelled our return reservation and just took a cab for the same price back to CDG. We had to call multiple times on arriving at CDG as no one was there to pick us up.

Just returned from Paris and totally share Craig's experience regarding GoldenAir. We traveled with another couple, had our concierge arrange a taxi large enough to carry the four of us plus 4 big bags and 2 semi-big plus carry on luggage and it cost us nearly 15 euro less than GolednAir ..and...we went directly to the airport (no more than 20 minutes) without having to stop and pickup other travelers on our way.
