going by ferry boat from Italy to Greece?

To all, What's the cheapest way to get from Italy to Greece? Is there a ferry boat that goes from Italy? I'm trying to get to Athens. Any advice would be appreciated.
thanks!

A ferry would be cheap, most run from Bari, Italy to Patras, Greece. (search for Superfast Ferries) A deck passage is around 50 euro, but you also need to get to Bari (by Train) then from Patras to Athens (bus or train), so figure closer to 100 euro. Another option would be flying, Aegean Air flies for around 100 euro Rome to Athens, less if you get a deal. Flying saves you time, 4 hours total vs closer to 24 by ferry.

You didn't say where you're leaving from in Italy, but Easyjet will fly you from Rome or Milan to Athens for as little as 21 euros (price depends on your flight date). Flying will take a little over 3 hours. MUCH faster, cheaper, and more convenient that an 18-hour overnight ferry to Patras, followed by a 2 1/2 hour bus ride to Athens. My advice: forget the ferry.
