Travelers departing Washington Dulles airport can now complete the global entry interview when departing on an international flight. I am guessing this a trial to see how well it works and iron out the kinks before rolling it out to other airports. Always nice to see government agencies trying to make things easier. Now if only they can get the online passport renewal back up.

It will be very interesting to see how (if) this works, especially since the office is only open from noon to 8 pm. I assume CBP has researched the number of departing international flights between those hours, which is why that time-frame was chosen. My wife did the Enrollment Upon Arrival last June at SEA and was the only person being interviewed.
