Getting to Nice airport from city of Nice

We will be staying at the Radisson hotel at the Nice Airport the night prior to our flight home. We will be coming from the city of Nice and I am wondering what is the best way to get there. We will not have a car.

The airport is quite close to the downtown. You could almost walk - not really. But you can see planes taking off from the beach area. If you are staying in a hotel at the airport, ask the hotel if they have airport pick up. Then catch the bus from one of the city locations to the airport. Very small airport and short ride.

hi, this is from RS book on France (hint hint), so i personally havent done this, YET, or verified any of the info on this part, but if i was doing it (and i will in the future), i would give it a try and is how i would try. its a start the way i see it. > you can call your hotel and see if they have a shuttle from the city to the hotel. they may have shuttles going back and forth between the city and aiport so going back and taking some guest shouldnt be an issue. you may have to wait for a flight to arrive tho, but they cant shoot you for asking. > bus #99 from the main train station across the street to the airport is suppose to be an express for 4 euros and run every half hour. > bus #98 (bus station - Gare routiere)near old Nice. 4 euros and 3/hour > bus #23 only serves Terminal 1 and between the train station. 1 Euro and 5/hour. (slower and makes other stops) taxis are considered expensive and are a no brainer. im sure otthers will chime in with better suggestions or with corrections. happy trails.

It's not that close to the city. I wouldn't dream of walking it. But there is a very convenient bus service between the airport and the city center. I've taken it many a time. I'm sure if you google it you can find it, probably in English too. I think the actual ride takes about 15-20 minutes, depends how bad the traffic is.
