Getting to Croatia from Prague or Florence

Hello, I'm planning a month-long trip through Europe and am currently trying to figure out how to get to Croatia. I'm not super picky about where in Croatia we go (traveling with one other person), but I was thinking Zadar or somewhere coastal. I also want to see the Plitvice Lakes, and will only be there for a few days. I'll be traveling in mid-July. I was thinking of taking a bus/train to Zagreb from Prague, but I can't find any info on prices for either on a day that works, and then I'd have to take a bus/train from there to a coastal city too. So I was thinking I could probably get from there to Porec, from where we could take a ferry to Venice, but I think Porec is too far from the Plitvice Lakes to make a day trip. So I was thinking maybe we could get from Prague to Zadar and from there to Florence, but I don't know how, since it's too expensive to get from Ancona, where the ferry goes, to Florence. OR, I could go Prague to Florence by bus, Florence to Zadar, and Zadar to Paris (where I need to end up). But, I can't find info on getting from Florence to Zadar and Zadar to Paris. Oh, and we want to spend about 4-5 days in Florence, 3ish days in Croatia, and 4-5 days in Paris. Any tips on buses/trains/ferries/anything would be fantastic! I've already checked Ryanair and (I think) most of the standard low-cost airlines, but I could be missing something. Thank you so much!

I don't know what you consider "too expensive" but the train fare from Ancona to Florence less than €50. You can catch the ferry from Split to Ancona.
