I'm traveling to Italy this summer with a group and then after they leave, I'm planning on going onto Ireland to visit with family. Flights that I'm looking at leave from CIA airport vs. FCO/Leonardo Da Vinci. What is the best, safest way to get there? I'm an experienced yet younger traveler and my mom is worrying a little about me doing this by muyself in Italy. Any suggestions? Thanks!

There are no trains all the way from Rome's main (Termini) station to CIA (Ciampino airport). The best way is probably by bus.
