I am having some difficulty finding out how to get from Paris Beauvais airport (I am taking Ryanair). Does anyone know the best and cheapest way to do this?
There's a bus that leaves fifteen or twenty minutes after each flight's arrival. Takes about an hour and a half, costs less than twenty buckx. Drops you at the Porte Maillot metro station.
Train involves taxi ride to station, pain in the neck, never done it.
There's also a shuttle, but I've never done that either.
Unfortunately, they've closed down their on-line ticket purchasing. If there are 2 of you, send one out Beauvais airport's front doors (only one set,...it's a small airport) and hang a right to find the bus ticket window....that way, you'll be at the front of what will grow to be a long lineup. Jump on the bus that appears to be filling up fastest.....they go when they're full. When you arrive at the Port Maillot drop-off point (a giant bus parking lot on the northwest fringe of Paris proper), you'll have a couple of hundred yard walk to the Metro station....it's south of the parking lot.
