Getting my TSA Known Traveler Number onto my plane ticket

I received my Known Traveler Number 3 months ago. When I purchased my tickets to Italy, there was no place to put the KTN. I purchased the tickets anyway.

Is there any way to get my KTN onto the ticket?

Some airlines, including Aer Lingus, do not participate in TSA pre-check.

I just went thru this with Swiss Air. I know it’s frustrating. Go into your ticket. There should be a place to click on passenger information or profile. I had to put in my passport info before I had the option to add my KTN. It should be easier to find with a U.S. airline. Or just call the airline but do it before your boarding pass is issued!

Check to make sure your airline participates in the Precheck program.

Why are we up so early with nothing better to do than posting on the RS site?

Did you purchase just Pre-check or did you get Global Entry as well?

If you got Global Entry, that is another reason to figure out how to get
your KTN into the record, as it will speed your reentry into the US at the
the end of your trip.

shoeflyer, when you are going through passport control & customs on return to the US, they only look at your passport for GE - your used airline ticket is irrelevant.

They'll know what flight you came in on.

On the old GE screens, your flight information would come up and you had to confirm it.
