We are arriving by train into Venice Mestre at 8:51am (July 16). We need to then get to the airport (VCE). My Rome2Rio search lists a Flixbus that runs every 30 minutes but the link to the Flixbus website lists only one bus for that date and it's at 7:25pm.
We'd like to hear experiences on how you've transferred from the Venice rail to the airport. Thanks!
Just take the local express bus from Mestre to VCE - no need to use FlixBus.
Easy, don't use Rome2Rio, it is a secondary source. The No 15 bus goes every 30 minutes, on the hour and half hour. Bus stop is to the right exiting the station on the north side (main station building) about 100 meters(yards). Cost is 8 EUR to the airport.
The ATVO express bus is 8 €, the 15 bus http://actv.avmspa.it/sites/default/files/attachments/pdf/UM/U-15.pdf seems to be cheaper, 1,50 €.
Nope - still 8 euros for either bus, for trips starting or ending at the airport.
Local bus works great I have used to Marco Polo airport. Am and pm.
bus will do the job - cheap, fast, easy
