Getting from Tuscany to Provence to Paris

What is the most efficient way to leave Tuscany and get to Paris? We also wish to see Provence. We leave Tuscany Sept 8 and need to leave Paris Sept 14?

We took the train from Florence to Nice. Then rented a car for Provence. We dropped it off in Avignon and took the TGV to Paris.
