Getting from Sofia (Bulgaria) to Athens (Greece)

Hey guys, I'm trying to find information on how to get from Sofia to Athens but I'm having a lot of trouble. I'm sure there's a bus or train I could take, I don't want to take a plane as it's too expensive. Does anyone know where I could find information on this, possibly prices to get an idea of how much it would cost? Thank you!

Here's a link to the Bulgarian RR website - just click on the Sofia - Thessaloniki - Athens link for a timetable. Be careful, though - I've been reading that the Sofia-Athens trains are periodically being cancelled due to Greek strikes.
