Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to go from Seville to Lisbon?
Two possibilities: Fly, or take the AVE to Madrid for the night train to Lisbon.
Taking the train to Madrid is spending a long time going in the wrong direction.
That question was asked about a month ago. Use the search box. Cannot remember the answer. Bus may have been the recommendation because there may not be a good train connection.
About the ONLY way (without a car) is the bus. Eva bus lines offers two runs/day Sevilla-Faro or Lagos (one morning, one evening). Alsa bus lines offers 1 trip/day. From Faro or Lagos, you can train it into Lisbon on the Portuguese national rail service.
Thank you for your quick response.

I rented a car in Seville and drove to the Algarve then up to Lisbon. It was very nice to have in the Algarve area, but obviously a bit of a pain in the city. As I recall, there was a pretty big parking garage right near the main plaza, which is also where our hotel was located. I'd check Rick's suggestions for parking in Lisbon.
If you're not planning any stops, a bus may be your best option.
Check Tapair Portugal. They were the one airline I found between the two locations. We're doing the opposite direction in a couple of weeks.
