getting from Rome to Port of Civitavecchia

I am trying to combine a fairly low cost trip with a splurge on a cruise out of Rome. I've learned that I can take a train from Rome's central terminal to Civitaveccia; then it appears to be about a 25 minute walk to the port. I'm assuming my other option would be a cab. Does anyone know what the cab fare should be from the Civitaveccia train terminal to the Port?

thanks very much!

Too bad Steve didn't provide a better reference but this is one of the most frequently asked questions on this site and people do get tired repeating the same info over and over. A two minute search would have found dozens of answers. A good source for Rome information is RoninRome. Here is his link to Civitavecchia

The best way to the cruise port is to walk - about 15 mins, quarter to half mile along the beach. There is a 1.10E shuttle bus to the port entrance but the line is always long for the bus. Since it is such a short trip, the cab driver do not want to waste their time so they will charge a lot for a one minute ride.
