We are flying into Naples on July 19th and want to get to the port to catch the Hydrofoil to Capri. Is it walking distance with rolling luggage? Do we need to take a cab? Does anyone know how far it is to get to the hydrofoils from the airport?

No, it's not walking distance. I took a bus, but you might prefer a cab. See http://www.naples-airport.info/

The Naples airport and the Naples ferry docks are about 12km apart. Not really within walking distance. There is good bus service from the main train station to the ferry docks but I don't know about from the airport. There is taxi service from the airport to the boat docks, however. Note that there are two different boat docks from which the hydrofoils depart. Napoli Mergelina and Napoli Beverello. Here's a link that shows many schedules.
