We we be arriving at Madrid airport 11:45 am Aug. 17 and will be catching train to Lisbon from Charmartin train station 9:25 pm. Need to drop off our backpacks at train station and want to take hop on off bus tour. What is best way to get to train station and then catch hop on off bus and then back to train station for evening train?

From the airport to Charmartin, the taxi will be the best. You might check the metro/subway map, but I am not sure of the routes. From Charmartin to the hoppa bus, you may be able to take the subway/metro as well, but am not currently familiar with the hoppa beginning points. There was one at the Prado. Suggest you check www.madridman.com. An excellent source!!!
