My wife and I are leaving a cruise in Le Havre to spend a couple of nights in Paris. What is the best way to get from Le Havre to Paris?

This is a word for word duplicate of another thread here in "Transportation". Ted, I can't help you with your answer but I can say that you will have a better thread if you only ask the question once. Duplicates tend to confuse both the poster and helpers. If you like this title better you can delete your previous thread when you are logged in.

Get off the ship, take one of the port facility's shuttle buses to the train station (ten minutes?) , ride the train (one leaves every couple of hours) to Paris (St Lazare) (two hours plus a bit, probably).

On weekday mornings direct trains from Le Havre to Paris depart at 05:28, 06:27, 06:59, 07:59, 09:59, and 12:00. The trip takes a little over two hours. You also can depart at 09:03 with a connection in Rouen. Times may be a bit different on weekends.
