We would like to spend a day in Tuscany. How would you recomend getting their? rent a car, bus, taxi? We would like to go the most practical way!

Where in Tuscany would you like to go? Tuscany is a region of Italy, not a town. Florence is actually in Tuscany, but there are lots of picturesque smaller towns nearby.
Do a search in the top corner for Tuscany and you'll get lots of recommendations for which towns to visit along with tips on transportation.
Most people recommend renting a car if you are planning on touring several towns in Tuscany. However, if you only wish to see one or two towns, i.e. Siena, there are buses that run from Florence.

I am open for suggestions. We can rent a car if you think that would be a better way to see the countryside. We are planning a day and a half in Florence (without a car) and then I thought a day with a car to drive around the towns. We love wine so if you have any suggestions on towns to visit please let me know.
