Getting from CDG (Paris) to Bercy Train station

Hello -
My husband and I will be flying into CDG and need to get to Bercy for a train to Italy. What is the best way to get there? We arrive in the a.m. and depart on the train in the p.m. Thanks

Bercy? Do you mean Gare Austerlitz? or Gare Lyon?

My guess is you mean Lyon as it is on the Bercy side of the river.

From CDG - you can take the RER B into Paris - travel time is 30 minutes to Chatelet station. Change here to the metro 14 - depart at Gare de Lyon

Your ticket purchased at the airport will get you on a single trip all the way to Lyon - and you can store luggage there.

Hello!
Actually we are departing from Gare de Bercy - which is a short walk from Lyon. So I assume I could follow your suggested route and be close.
Thanks!

Just continue on line 14 to Bercy. It's the next stop. (Direction: Olympiades).

Another option - should you decide to drop off bags at the Gare and then go have lunch - Gare du Bercy is off of line 6. For a cheap treat take the line in the direction of Charles de Gaulle Etoile. This train goes outside so you can see architecture and then go across the river with a view of the Eiffel Tower.

Wow! Thanks for the tip! That sounds like a great way to kill some of the time we will have before our night train!

Ashley my husband and I will be traveling the same route in June, CD to Gare de Lyon. I found that you can catch an AF bus, english speaking drivers, just outside the airport, they leave every 30 minutes so no need to make a reservation and the first stop they make is the Gare de Lyon train station. We were in the Chatalet RER station on our last trip and it was frightening, just huge and my husband was almost picked pocketed. If you are like me and just want to get on a non stop, no transfer mode of transportation to your destination check this out. They have a good web site and it's not expensive.
Good luck Mary
