Getting from car drop off at Basel airport (French side) to the Basel train station in Switzerland

After having a car to tool around Alsace for a few days, we are dropping it off at a depot on the French side of the Basel airport. From there, we are using trains and headed to Mürren.

My understanding is that there is a bus from the airport to the train station. Is it easy to find the bus from where the car rental depots (French side) are located? Doable on foot?

Also, once at the train station, just want to confirm I can then purchase the Swiss half fare card and my tickets to Mürren. If correct, how much time should I allow for this?

Thanks in advance for any tips or instructions you may be able to share.

The bus departs from the Swiss side of the airport. But it is only possible to cross from the French to the Swiss half of the airport inside the terminal. You need to do the following:

If the SBB desk at the airport is unmanned, just buy a bus ticket from the machine at the bus stop (you can see them in the photo), and by your Half Price Card and ticket to Mürren at the station. No rush, as there are trains every 30 minutes to Mürren, via Interlaken.

Thank you very much, Chris F. That's exactly the information I needed.
