How do I get my family from Athens to Venice in June. We cannot cruise because that takes too long. I do not see a bus or train that is quick enough. So air? If so, what is the most reliable airline?
Don't think you can without using a "flag" airline. However, according to www.flylc.com, you can get to Milan from Athens and then take the train to Venice. It looks like Easyjet does that route and they are a super inter-EU low-cost line.
Hi Cindy. Have you tried common travel web sites? I picked a random day on Expedia and see a nice non-stop for $190.
Thanks for each of the suggestions. Since we are traveling on a Sunday perhaps Agaean air will have something not as pricey. But yes I did notice they are not booking that far ahead whereas expedia did have other suggestions we can do right now. Perhaps I can wait a few more months and see what the prices look like at that time.
Try Aegean Air. They are a budget airline, fly Athens to Venice. Schedules are not yet available for June 2012, but now they are flying once a day on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. You may have to adjust your itinerary, but that would be the cheapest, quickest way.
There's plenty of smaller European airlines that may have a schedule that works for you. Condor, German Wings, RyanAir, etc.
Thanks. Skyscanner does indicate the flight but Aegean says it is too early to book it. Maybe I should try again in a month or so.
Thanks, easyjet does seem to have Milan but I am not seeing Venice.
