Hi, I am wondering if it is best to get a taxi or uber to get from Verona to Garda. I know there is a bus or train but they take almost twice as long as driving. How do I know what the legitimate taxis are if that is the only way to go?
Thanks for the help.
uber, as it operates in the US, does not exist in Italy
My guess is a taxi is 80-100 euro, and wouldn't be surprised if it were more
Thanks - is there anything other than taxi similar to uber in Italy? Just trying to find the quickest way to get there as it will be late in the day.
I took the train it was an easy ride.
Do you mean Garda the town, or another location on Lake Garda.
If you mean Garda the town, then bus.
Trains go from Verona to Peschiera and Dezenzano.
You can google private transfers for those options.
I have used Welcome Pickups but not in Verona.
I hired a private driver to get me to my Lake Garda location (though it wasn't from Verona). If you're interested in contact info, please PM me.
