We reserved trenitalia tickets ( Firenze S. M. Novella to Salerno Frecciarossa 9513), but have decided to get a driver in Naples to take us to Positano instead. How would I get a refund for the Naples to Salerno portion of my ticket? I am registered online and can see my reservation, but not sure how to proceed. Can anyone walk me thru the change/solution portion? Thanks in advance. It's 18 euro, so not a big loss if I can't get it done. Just would help offset other costs.

Doris, by chance was your ticket a Economy or Super Economy ticket? If yes, they are non-refundable. I'm not sure how to get a partial refund on a Trenitalia ticket.

We bought 2 economy tickets and it appears they are refundable, but I am not sure either if I can get the Naples to Salerno portion refunded.

Doris, for the Economy ticket, you can change your booking online up to the time of travel subject to a change fee. Not sure if that would result in any kind of a refund or reduction in fare but you can change the ticket. The ticket itself, or any part of the ticket itself is not refundable.
